Battle Of The Shake Life {Video} vLive Houston Vs Big Tho & DJ Eric Show

When it rains, it pours. V Live Houston strip club is officially shut down or “Under Construction” however you want to view it. The battle of shake life is now underway. A lot of sneak dissing being done from all parties involved in the rise of the V Live brand.

For facts, The state of Texas has seized the club for backed taxes, according to a sign posted on the venue’s door.
Texas tax assessors said the club owes close to $200,000, which is kind of weird with all that cash flying around every night. Heck, they probably could have paid in singles. But the club has also seen its share of tragedy. Two patrons were shot last summer after a fight broke out at the venue plus a high profile robbery and lawsuit still under investigation.
“We became a popular urban club so the city and state targeted us for every little thing that we do,” Chizer said.
The owner of V-Live Damon Cobbs says the success of the night club was both a blessing and a curse.

A super popular urban nightclub for the last three years drawing major celebrities to Houston. People like Drake, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Idris Elba, Floyd Mayweather, and even Lil Kim have all been spotted in the so called bikini bar aka V Live. In fact, Drakes’s even used the club — pole and all — as the set for his music video “Child’s Play.”

Houston was the original location to all the other franchises. Many people felt like DC7UP abandoned the people who made the brand as big as it is, the original staff, dancers, and customers. In the meantime, Cobbs also says he paid his fair share of fees and taxes to the state and city. He believes the $200,000 figure is inflated because of his club’s popularity.
“There is no amount of money that can please the city,” Cobbs said.

After failure to appear in court, correct the problems & pay the fines assessed by Harris County, V Live Houston is shut down and under construction, while many cases still pend.

A lot of finger pointing and egos are at an all time high on the direction of what next !? In the meantime, the city favorite crowd pleasers, Big Tho & DJ Eric Show have moved on to bigger and better things. After joining 97.9 The Box radio, they’re also taking their talents to other clubs like Showtime in the meantime while Drake’s new club The Ballet, set to open in 2017. Classy & Legal.

“The people made V Live what it was, and Houston will follow us where ever we go,” General Manager Chizer said.

Well, DC7UP is not feeling the unity in the community and focusing his businesses on other cities and people (stating people and things are replaceable, no more DJ tip outs, no more DJ’s/Pimp taking girls out of sections and drama, stating it’s business, nothing personal) (Jabs At The Big Tho & DJ Eric Show !?) He posted it on Instagram from his SnapChat…but now deleted #SipsTea
People wondered would he come back to Houston and face the city and correct the problems…but that seems to be the least of his worries, as he continues to sneak diss those who don’t support him and his vLive vs Everybody brand. (He’s funny and we love it)
