Meek Mill Goes To Jail {Rumor or Fact} Will Serve Months For Probation Violation On Gun Charge

This week has not been good for Meek Mill. After internal issues within his MMG label, Philadelphia’s FOX 29 reports the hometown rapper has been sentenced to serve jail time by the District Attorney.

Reported on Twitter, the 27-year-old rapper whose real name is Robert Williams, has been ordered to serve three to six months in county jail. The local District Attorney has stated to be worried about Meek Mill’s behavior while he is currently on probation, after pictures of guns surfaced. In the past, Meek has expressed frustration dealing with probation, stemming from a gun charge in a 2008.

A representative from the Philly MC’s team states he will only serve anywhere from three to four weeks in jail.

“I created MMG years ago, my desire was to create a space where the most talented artists in the world could be nurtured and supported. With that came a commitment. I vowed to support these artist, through the good and the bad. Every individual signed to MMG is not just an artist, they are my family. And with family you ride, or you die.
